Engineering Seismology Group (ESG) is a multi-disciplined engineering and geophysical technology firm that specializes in delivering passive microseismic monitoring solutions to clients in the petroleum, mining and geotechnical industries worldwide. ESG designs, manufactures, installs and supports microseismic monitoring systems and provides real-time monitoring, processing and analysis services to clients who want better information and improved decision making capabilities. We monitor for man-induced seismicity and use this information to gain a better understanding of how the rockmass (mine, reservoir, and structure) is behaving in response to our client’s operations. Operators can use this enhanced understanding to increase workplace safety, reduce environmental or operating risk, and optimize production techniques in accordance with the new information they receive.
