Administrative Assistant

This is an important position, because as the frontline person for the Association, you will represent CACD. Reports to the Member Services Coordinator & offers assistance wherever needed.

Skill Set
-Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Working knowledge of Access
-Valid driver’s license and vehicle
-Inter-personal skills suitable for dealing with company CEO’s
-Bilingual in English & French (verbal & written)*

Job Duties
-Telephone receptionist
-Telephone, fax, email & internet communications with Association members
-Local errands (bank deposits, post office, errands as they come up).
-Filing, record maintenance, database entry & management of database and keeping up to date.
-Regular review of database (quarterly)
-Assist with meeting facility (arranging catering, cleanup)
-Manage inventory levels of office supplies
-Assisting in organization of Annual & Semi Annual meetings
-All day-to-day transactions of the Association
-Review all financial entries and assist Bookkeeper when required.
-All follow-ups for surveys, meetings, seminars, and advertising leads
-Travel arrangements for association staff
-Follow up on outstanding invoices for Operations & Education Fund
-Assistance with collections for Member Service Coordinator
-Any other duties as required French
-Translation of general communications*
* Would be an asset
