SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST - FULL TIME
CORPORATE OFFICE (MARKHAM)
Effective: Immediately

We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Information Systems department. In this role, you will facilitate the implementation of new functionality to increase efficiency and effectiveness within various business areas. Working closely with functional teams, including Finance, Human Resources and Operations, you have extensive experience working with business experts to analyze software application needs and solutions and facilitate implementation within a variety of environments.

Responsibilities:
• Provide MS Dynamics (Great Plains) functional application support.
• Design and implement new functionality within Finance, Human Resources and Operations.
• Work collaboratively with functional areas to identify and document business requirements and obtain client sign off.
• Analyze current software applications and identify opportunities to optimize applications to improve efficiency of business processes.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes and recommend changes that leverage best usage of the application.
• Establish solid working relationships with end users, software vendor, and internal technical team members.
• Lead functional testing efforts for enhancements, fixes and upgrades.
• Research, respond to and resolve inquiries, issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Provide overall end user production support.

Requirements:
• A Computer Science degree or diploma with supplemental business education is preferred (equivalent education and experience will be considered)
• Three to five years of related experience with strong functional expertise in MS Dynamics or similar Enterprise Financial software
• Extensive experience implementing software solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to effectively deal with remote teams and customers
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Project management experience in delivery of solutions is strongly preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace
• Knowledge of Finance, Human Resource and Payroll processes is an asset
• Passion for helping businesses operate more effectively
• Candidate must express an aptitude for problem solving and a solid work ethic
