Our client, a big manufacturing company, has an immediate opening for a HR Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a challenge in a fast paced environment, and the opportunity to grow with a winning team.

The HR Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in this busy office, with the main purpose of the position being to provide admin support to the HR Manager. You will also manage the administrative functions and processes of the office.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Functions of data entry, typing letters, memos etc.
Basic accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable / receivable
Setting up and conducting interviews, reference checking and follow up with candidates
Proficiently answer telephone calls directing inquires to proper individuals while following company guidelines, procedures and policies
Maintain a professional business appearance at all times
Filing, faxing, ordering office supplies as required
Provide general support on a need be basis and other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
1-2 years related experience
Superior communication and presentation skills
EXCEPTIONAL attention to detail
Effective interpersonal skills; proven analytical/problem solving abilities and time management skills
Ability to work independently without supervision and make decisions to achieve optimal results
Proven ability to work with people at all levels
Proficiency in MS Products (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.) and the workings of the Internet
Ability to allocate one’s time effectively; to multi task multiple demands and competing priorities
Work well under pressure and manage deadlines
Adapt to new ideas and constant change
