| Technical Graphics Designer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and creation of web and print visuals Design and creation of prototypes and proof of concepts Design and creation of Adobe Flash/Flex applications Understanding customers Attributes: The candidate must have a flair for creativity in design with the ability to take verbal cues and turn them into functional designs The candidate must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and possess good time management and project management skills The candidate must be able to handle constructive feedback, in addition to being optimistic and have a strong sense of humor. The candidate must be approachable and willing to offer helpful solutions in addition to have the ability to search relentlessly for better solutions. Must Have Skills Degree or certificate in Web or Graphic Design 2 years previous work experience or a combination of relevant education and experience Strong conceptual design abilities as demonstrated by online portfolio Expertise in Adobe CS2 or CS3, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Indesign Strong working knowledge of development for cross-browser compatibility Expertise in HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX Knowledge of web coding standards and interface design best practices Ability to work directly with both internal and external customers/project stakeholders Nice To Have Skills Experience working with Ruby on Rails Experience working in Agile development environment Understanding of both .NET and Java based application development | |
