| Building Restoration Technician Skills/Experience: - Knowledge and/or experience in water and fire restoration for commercial and residential buildings. - Knowledge of document recovery due to a property loss. - Knowledge of Desiccant and LGR dehumidification. - Experience in shipping and receiving. - General electrical knowledge. - Excellent communication skills. - Good computer skills (WORD, EXCEL, Lotus Notes). - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. - Must be organized and able to be self sufficient. - Experience in the building restoration environment between 2 to 5 years. - Valid drivers licence. Job Responsibilities: - Ability to be on call 24/7. - Must oversee all of the warehouse responsibilities; shipping, receiving and organization. - To deliver drying equipment to the property loss location and monitor on a daily basis. - Must maintain all of the drying equipment in preparation for the next job. - To assist in overseeing trades while on site. - Ability to communicate clearly with the clients. Qualifications: - Post secondary education in the mechanical or electrical engineering. - Certification in IICRC education is a definite asset.
