Medical Sonographer (Echo Cardiography Technician) A Cardiac Echo Technician treats and diagnoses patients by using ultrasound equipment and other noninvasive echocardiography testing equipment. Cardiac Echo Technicians study a patient's image and look for any abnormalities in that image.
