HR Consultant: Classification Action Personnel is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Consultant, with a specialization in Classification, who has undergone Hay Plan training. This is a temporary/contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government clients whose mandate is to protect and improve the health of all Canadians. The mandate for this Consultant is two-fold: 1. Creating and revising work descriptions 2. Reviewing the current organizational structure and providing recommendations for changes Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Preparing job descriptions for Executive and non-Executive positions • Conducting interviews when necessary to gain further insight into a particular position • Providing analysis on each classification and outlining options for possible reclassification • Revision of current work descriptions and making recommendations on any changes required • Providing consultation on potentially creating new positions and their associated job descriptions • Preparing comprehensive reports detailing justification for organizational structure changes • Providing expert input into policies and practices related to classification of staff In order to be considered for this opportunity you must possess: • Thorough understanding and extensive experience in implementing the Hay Plan • Prior experience in this capacity (HR-Classification) within the Federal Government • Proven experience preparing numerous job descriptions utilizing the Hay Plan methodology • Extensive experience providing consultation on organizational design If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please present your resume in Word format with the subject heading "HR Classification" in your email.
