| Laptop Repair Technician My client is currently in need of highly skilled Laptop Repair Technicians. Successful candidates will have strong laptop repair experience and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot different brands of laptops. This is a contract role located in Markham, with the opportunity to go permanent. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assembles, disassembles, and tests laptop/notebook systems & peripherals -Assists in performing standard tests and runs diagnostic software on equipment to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of the repair -Replaces defective parts, lubricates and cleans parts REQUIREMENTS: -Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on repair experience -Familiarity with Name Brand Laptops such as Sony, Toshiba, HP, Compaq, Dell, IBM, and Apple etc. -Strong laptop repair experience, analyzing, evaluating and performing repairs -Must be detail oriented, and possess excellent analytical/organizational skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision -Good written and oral communication skills -Technical education and A+ certification preferred, but not required PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: -Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs OTHER: -Must be able to work 8:00AM-5:00PM, Mon-Friday with possible overtime and Saturday work -Must have legal authorization to work in Canada While we thank all applicants for your interest, only the most qualified candidates will be contacted due to volume of applicants. | |
