| Physiotherapist Through our Health Service Support Contract with the Department of National Defence, Calian’s healthcare professionals work in partnership with military healthcare teams providing primary care to today’s Canadian Forces. This position offers regular weekday hours with no evening or weekend work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to supplement there income. Job Description: Working within a multi-disciplinary team, this position presents the successful candidate with an opportunity to work with a very disciplined and motivated client base whose injuries result mainly from sports and training activities. You will be called upon to deliver safe, efficient and effective physiotherapy interventions using evidence-based approaches and best practices. This includes providing a broad range of Physical Therapy treatment techniques including orthopaedic and sports medicine. Emphasize is put on prevention, consultation, evaluation and initiatives that improve treatment services to Canadian Forces members. Mandatory Qualifications: • Licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario • A Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience • A current membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Desirable Qualifications: • Experience in Acupuncture therapy is an asset • Minimum of 2 years experience as a clinician with orthopaedic-sport medicine caseload. • Experience in the accreditation process would be an asset | |
