| Medical Advisor Our government client Health Canada is currently seeking a temporary Medical Advisor. Requirements • English Essential • Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance Duties • Oversee the development in collaboration with stakeholders of continuous quality improvement strategy for improving emergency response practices. • Review existing FNIHB/Health Canada resources as well as provincial infection control, find gaps, review interfaces with nursing practice and education guidelines. • Provide medical advice on issues related to First Nations Communities. • Write final report outlining results of project with recommendations for future steps. • Provide regular weekly progress reports and updates. • Experience working with federal, provincial and territorial counterparts in the medical health profession, and with First Nations communities. Assets • Working knowledge of Lotus Notes • Knowledge of First Nation and Inuit Health • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement processes • Experience in Community Health • Preference may be given to candidates with medical education/experience While enthusiastic candidates are appreciated, only those being considered will be contacted Candidates already registered with Turtle Island Staffing should contact their consultant directly | |
