| Radar Specialist We are currently recruiting for a Radar Specialist to work on future contracts within the federal government. Tasks: * Analysis of modern threat radars and radar systems. * The definition of requirements to build Matlab Simulink® models * The implementation, verification and validation of software models given defined requirements * The definition, execution and analysis of software simulation studies. * Provide advice on latest radar trends and the implications for electronic countermeasures found in modern threat radars (e.g. SAM systems, RF guided seekers). * Design and analysis of RF electronic countermeasure (ECM) techniques and tactics. Areas of investigation may include distributed ECM concepts. Mandatory Requirements: * A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics from a recognized University. * 5 years of work experience in either the design or analysis of threat radars and radar systems. * Applicable radar systems include long range search radars, surface-to-air missile systems (acquisition radars, fire control radars, surface-to-air missile seekers), airborne radars (airborne intercept, air-to-air missile seekers), and phased array radars (including active and passive electronically scanned array). * 2 years of work experience in analyzing the signal processing of radar systems. Applicable radar systems are defined above. * 2 years work experience in defining requirements to build software models of threat radars or radar systems or their subsystems. * 1 year work experience in developing (coding and verification) software models of radar systems or electronic warfare systems. * 1 year work experience coding in Matlab Simulink®. * 1 year work experience using version control software and software development processes, ISO 9000 or equivalent. * Must have high proficiency in English reading and report writing.
