Mine Engineering-Backfill We are looking for a Divisional Backfill Engineer to join our team as we enjoy significant expansion in our operations. You will be responsible for the provision of engineering production planning support for mining operations. We are looking for individuals who are able to effectively communicate their ideas and concerns as well as listen and collect input from others. Successful candidates will work to ensure that existing protocols are understood and followed. Individuals who thrive in a team environment, who have demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, who are open minded and constantly looking to improve themselves and their work will find success Position Requirements: • Experience in layout and design of production drilling, blasting, development, and ground support. • Knowledge of underground mining methods and processes, ventilation, backfill systems, equipment usage and the ability to apply engineering principles to them. • Knowledge and Experience with MS Office, Autocad, 3D mine planning and scheduling software. • Effective communication skills. • Knowledge of Project Management planning, analysis, and control. • Coordinate planning and tracking of mining projects. Educational/Experience Requirements: Graduation from a Geological or Mine Engineering program with 5-10 years work experience. License/Professional Requirements:
