Senior Industrial Engineer The primary purpose of the role is to support the Industrial Engineering needs of the Ontario Mines. This will include: • Use of Mine Simulation technology to simulate production for future mine expansion; • Reviewing existing production bottlenecks; • Support for the benchmarking initiatives; • Support for the process mapping initiatives and process improvement support. The Senior Industrial Engineer will work collaterally with peers and cross functionally with colleagues in operations, engineering, geology, maintenance and services to help the mine achieve their objectives. Knowledge of engineering standards, practices, procedures, and requirements • Project management & coordination knowledge • Design knowledge for the given discipline with some areas of specialization • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation • Strong organizational, management, communication and human relation skills • Must be able to apply and use standard MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Proficient organizational skills for planning and project coordination. This includes analytical and decision making skills • Excellent communication skills including written, oral, and demonstrative • Interpersonal communication • Effective time management - priority setting • Professional Engineer with minimum 10 years operations/design/project management experience
