Infrastructure Engineer

To provide technical support in the areas of mechanical, electrical, structural, civil and maintenance engineering as it relates to mine and surface plant infrastructure design and selection.

This role holder is primarily an individual contributor who adds value by providing the technical knowledge and expertise on system and equipment design, selection, maintenance, costing, and management to the Senior Mine Evaluation Engineers leading mine development studies within the Project Evaluation Group. This role holder also assists in the identification and selection of appropriate technology to apply to the various mining development projects to provide opportunities for productivity gains and cost reductions in both operations and maintenance. The role holder recommends and prepares personal action plans to achieve these outcomes. The work of this role is primarily cross-functional. The Infrastructure Engineer works collaterally with his peers in the Project Evaluation Group and with Operations and Maintenance at the specific plants.

• BSc Engineering
• 10 years experience or equivalent
