| Engineers Spanish based construction company with offices in Toronto is looking for Engineers Position title: Civil Engineer Hierarchical Dependence Functional Dependence: Site manager POSITION DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities: Job Purpose/ Responsibilities 1. Plan, design, develop and manage civil construction projects (road, bridge, structures, etc.) 2. Manage site work, superintendents, foreman, 3. Follow up nonconformities with the persons involved. 4. Check the technical quality of interventions made by the resources allocated to projects under his/her leadership 5. Ensures respect of Health and safety (prevention program) and quality system 6. Ensures compliance with the standards of construction designs, plans and specifications 7. Assists the administration of projects by checking the proper technical implementation of project 8. Ensures compliance with the budgets of project construction 9. Ensures that the plans meet the guidelines, the requirements of building codes and other regulations 10. Interacting with the subcontractors and other members of the engineering team to ensure the success of the project. Functions: Essential Functions 1. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related engineering discipline Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Software (Autocad, MS Project, MS Office) Special Conditions 1. Required to work on site. 2. ASP certification. 3. Valid driver license. Experience & Requirements: 3-5 years of experience on site work in civil construction. Spanish language is a plus | |
