Assistant Manager - Finance Production Systems Title: Assistant Manager - Finance Production Systems Industry: Financial Services Salary $70,000 plus bonus Our client is a large financial institution currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager - Finance Production Systems for their Corporate Office. The Assistant Manager supports the general ledger application which is used by the businesses globally to record all business transactions in real time 24/7. The Assistant Manager is responsible to ensure all systems, processes and controls execute as expected to maintain operational excellence. You will identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements in conjunction with the finance users and technology solutions partners. The Assistant Manager will assist users on a daily basis and also be involved in large scale upgrade projects. Requirements: Reporting to the Manager Finance Production Systems, the successful candidate has a business and or accounting university degree and has a minimum of 5 years of experience that combines corporate level financial reporting and application management. You have hands-on experience with large finance production systems such as PeopleSoft (preferably), SAP, Oracle or JD Edwards. You have experience dealing with professional in financial, operational and IT departments. You are a proactive, resourceful professional with the ability to prioritize your workload. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have proven experience interacting and influencing colleagues across various functions and levels of the organization.
