| SQL DEVELOPER DESCRIPTION - Responsible for performing requirements analysis in an agile development environment while working with users, 3rd party representatives, project teams, and management - Propose innovative solutions and communicate ideas to the supervisor and colleagues - Work with DBA’s and senior team members to develop database designs and enhancements - Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions - Train end users or technical support staff as required - Analyze, install and test upgrades applications and/or programs after implementation - Develop test procedures and plans from requirements documents as required - Assist with integration testing between internal logistics applications and other intelligent transportation system field devices - Assist in the maintenance and development of corporate websites utilizing ASP.Net as required - Design and develop C++ back and frontend applications in the Windows operating system environment ENVIRONMENT MS SQL Server 2005, VP Script Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (SQL, T-SQL, Stored Procedures), ADO.NET, Web Services, XML, Microsoft .Net Framework, C++, Visual Basic, ASP, Windows XP, .NET 2.0, XSL, Crystal Reporting and Oracle. REQUIREMENTS - 2 years plus SQL development experience - Familiar with Java, C++, Visual Basic, ASP and .NET - Experience with intelligent transportation or traffic management systems and process controls would be considered definite assets - Experience in the transportation or logistic industries would be considered assets | |
