E-commerce Technical Support

The ideal characteristics of the Technical Support Agent include:

- Ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritize workload
- Technical background and experience dealing with a fast paced environment
- Discipline to follow procedures and pay attention to detail
- Energetic personality with a positive attitude to resolving issues
- Well organized and able to multi-task

Responsibilities:
- Acts as customer's focal point for issues, following all resolutions, escalation and notification process
- Utilizes incident tracking system to record actions taken on issues
- Trouble-shoots issues, resulting in resolution or appropriate escalation

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong understanding of e-commerce industry
- Good knowledge of eBay listing life-cycle
- Good command in Excel and HTML
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Creative, pro-active, self starter, team player
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technology
- Experience in a technical support or customer service capacity would be considered a definite asset
- Post secondary education in Computer Science or related fields
- One to two years experience working in related fields
