Entry-Level Landscape Designer A successful and growing design/build firm has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Entry-Level Landscape Designer. Our main focus is working with residential home owners and or high-end custom builder/ developers in the GTA area. We offer paid training, production bonus system; opportunities for advancement and we are committed to safety in the workplace. We are looking for a self-motivated team player to join and support our Administrative, Sales and Production departments. Employment Type: Contract Employment Status: part-time/full-time, long-term or seasonal Minimum Experience: 2nd year student enrolled in a College /University landscaping program or a minimum of 2 years experience in landscape construction. Salary: negotiable/TBD Responsibilities This person will assist in all aspects of each project. Responsibilities will range from site analysis, Dynascape documentation, hand-sketching, to design development. Projects will focus mainly on residential properties. Job includes meeting with potential clients at the job site, providing designs and proposals, getting installation crews started on jobs, monitoring crew's daily progress and client account management. Candidates must have the ability to apply landscape architectural principles and have a professional knowledge of both plant materials and hardscapes. Skills must include proficiency in Dynascape, basic hand graphics, familiarity with Word and Excel. Many of our projects are handled as a team, strong communication skills are imperative.
