| Media Monitor Our Federal Government client is urgently seeing a Media Monitor. This is a temporary contract opportunity to work with an organization that is responsible for the health, well-being and welfare of all Canadians. In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must possess: • Enhanced Reliability security clearance • Superior communications skills in French • Prior experience providing support for communications and media personnel • Confidence with interacting with government officials at all levels • Proficient with web searches • Strong analytic skills with media affecting the organization • Excellent abilities to multi-task and meet project deadlines • At least two (2) years experience as a Media Monitor • Extensive experience producing reports and subsequent analysis Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Conducting thorough scanning of the World Wide Web for stories relevant to your department • Reading transcripts of television broadcasts • Producing reports and conducting thorough analysis • Working extensively with RSS Reader, Google Alerts and CISION transcripts If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please forward your resume in Word format with the subject heading "Media Monitor" in your email.
