Technical Services/ Benefits Underwriter Our client, a customer-driven organization committed to providing superior value through service, professionalism and that little bit of extra effort, is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join their team in the Technical Services capacity. The ideal candidate will combine a CEBS or GBA certification with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in benefits underwriting. Strong computer knowledge and and understanding of Group Insurance functions is a requirement. Responsibilities/ Requirements: Prepare client reports as necessary and set up rate and experience history Negotiate with carriers on premium Collaborate and assist in preparing market reports Receive and format proposals Provide updated client financial performance results Analyze client information and make recommendations in collaboration with the consultant Prepare pension marketing presentations and governance reporting Receive renewal information from carriers and test in line with underwriting formulas Full benefits from day one, along with 5 weeks annual vacation.
