Maintenance Planner (Millwright License) The successful candidate will provide technical support and coordination for maintenance activities of the operations in both daily and project activities. Assist with planning installation and maintenance on equipment as well as its optimization. Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, schedule manpower, organize shutdowns, and other major tasks. Maintain liason between the operations and maintenance departments. Utilize the CMMS by processing work orders and purchase requisitions, reviwing backlog, weekly schedules, PM's, and updating the equipment database. Visit the job site and analyze the job in the field. Verify the availability of parts, materials, and special tools required for job execution. Estimate the cost of labour and materials for each work order. Research information for new work and utilize feedback and history to improve job plans, Work closely with Supervisors, operators and skilled trade groups. Facilitate wekely and daily planning meetings. Possess good analytical thinking, planning, organizing, and problem solving skills
