| Full Time Residential Support Workers Aspire Consulting Services in partnership with Brampton Caledon Community Living are searching for Residential Support Workers that want to make a difference in others lives. Do you have experience with supporting individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities? This position requires someone who can assist an individual to achieve personal goals and facilitate relationships, skills, and roles, which promote his/her valued and effective participation in the life of the community Position Expectations: Demonstrate a respectful relationship, which recognizes an individual’s right as a citizen and promotes their dignity and well-being. Promote and demonstrate the values of the organization within the workplace and in the community. Develop and/or implement support agreements to achieve personal outcomes by using Personal Outcomes Measures. Assist individuals to develop decision-making skills and exercise choices. Facilitate the development of social networks, lifestyles for people, promoting the involvement of family, community groups,employers and others in the community. Support individuals in all aspects of Daily Living and must be able to work with all individuals to promote a healthy and safe environment Qualifications: Candidates must possess the following: DSW, DDW, SSW, PSW, related diploma/degree from accredited College or University. Current First Aid/CPR CPI or UMAB is an asset. Valid Drivers License and vehicle Current Driver`s Abstract, Current Automobile Insurance Current Police check if available The positions available are Permanent Full Time Residential Support Workers. All candidates must be willing to work various shifts.
