| Jr. AutoCAD Drafter/Technician Auto CAD Drafter/Technician Experience / Skills Required: The successful candidate can demonstrate solid project based drafting experience, possess post secondary education relating to architectural technology or equivalent, and has the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with Senior Managers and Engineers. As well, you must have the knowledge and demonstrated ability in the following areas; understanding of engineering documents, reading architectural blueprints and composite construction drawings, drafting, AutoCAD (with the skill level to utilize timesaving techniques and demonstrate advanced ability), MS Excel & Word, ability to identify problems in drawings, investigate and markup discrepancies, ability to check and revise drawings, prioritize tasks, manage time, and multi-task. Duties: Prepares precise drawings and details for stone fabrication and installation using AutoCAD based on the customer’s requirements and to meet the construction deadlines set by the client. Maintain and update the AutoCAD schematics as required. Develop and generate graphics and communicate to Engineers, Consultants, General Contractors, Project Managers, and/or Clients in a clear, concise, respectful and professional manner. As knowledge base increases you will be responsible for interpreting, developing and applying solutions to work assigned. Industry / Client: A highly respected structural engineering firm providing innovative engineering solutions to a wide range of clients and is known as a leader in the stone cladding and anchoring, lightweight metal cladding, and residential structures and building science fields.
