Network Analyst

Responsibilities:
• Based on User Requirements create design and functional specifications then develop / enhance Web enabled applications using Visual Studio .NET (C#).
• Design and build normalized MS SQL databases and tables and stored procedures to support the applications being developed.
• Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Report Writer
• Work on Track It work order tasks given to you by the supervisor to support enhancements and corrections to applications being used at Accucaps to ensure timely and effective response to user needs.
• Develop Project Plans and track progress of development projects using Artologik
• Ensure quality customer service.
• Prioritize your daily tasks to insure efficient and effective use of time.
• Properly document resolutions to help desk tickets assigned to you in the Track It System.
• Support Fourth Shift and Bar Coding software enhancements required as per User Requirements Specifications and direction from supervisor.
• Work with users when developing software to insure company and user needs are met.
• Develop User Manuals / Technical Manuals as required.
• Develop procedures as required in support of the application development implementation for all software that may be enhanced including Fourth Shift, MP2, Track It, Trutrack, Insync, Ceridian, Training Manager 2000 and custom developed software.
• Achieve Required Results for Productivity, Quality and Service through utilization of the Management Operating System.
• Participate in the Observation funnel, conduct observations, identify method changes and participate in implementation of method changes.
• Conduct schedule checks, report variances to key performance indicators and address to resolve.
Network and Operations Skills Required
• Working knowledge of Cisco Networking Gear, MS 2003 Server Administration, Active Directory, Exchange 2003, NS DNS, ASA500 Firewalls, IBM Blade Center Management, VLAN, DHCP Setup, Backup and Restore Management (DRP) and Terminal Services
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
o Experience developing software in a manufacturing environment.
o University Degree/ College Diploma in Computer Science
o Sound knowledge of Visual Studio .NET in C#, MS SQL 2000 Server, Stored Procedures, Network and Server OS Management / Support
o Excellent project management skills and systems analysis skills
