| Laser Technician and Customer Service Manager Do you have a passion for wellness and helping people? Do you have a good understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the human body? Are you a positive, caring, motivated people person with great communication skills and an entrepreneurial spirit? GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: The incumbent of this position will be involved with all dimensions of Mission Wellness Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) business. Focus of this position will be to provide effective laser therapy for the clients of Mission Wellness. The incumbent will see our client’s with a holistic view and will promote not only laser therapy, but overall wellness. The incumbent will develop strong relationships with clients and will create a positive, enthusiastic environment that promotes healing and wellness. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: The successful applicant will report to the Directors of Mission Wellness but will also develop a strong relationship with staff of McCue Wellness, especially Dr. McCue who will be responsible for the assessment of Mission Wellness clients. NATURE & SCOPE : - Incumbent will be responsible for the development of a care plan and the application of laser therapy for Mission Wellness clients. This will include room setup, dialogue with clients, treatments, charting and updating of Mission Wellness clients as well as tracking quality measures to ensure we are providing the highest level of care. - Works collaboratively with staff of McCue Wellness to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach is being taken. - Educates clients of Mission Wellness to understand the benefits of LILT and other ailments that can be treated with LILT. - Educates McCue Wellness staff regarding the benefits of LILT. - Work closely with McCue Wellness staff with regards to administrative duties including scheduling, billing and communication with client. - Communicates regularly with Directors of Mission Wellness. - Provides marketing material and guidance to clients, including up-selling and promoting referrals. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: The successful candidate should have a background in a health field or equivalent experience and education. Education in Nursing, Kinesiology, Massage Therapy or other medical fields would be valuable. Knowledge of: · Health status especially around sports injuries, back pain and chronic pain · Understand the importance of interpersonal relationships and how to foster them · Positive outlook on life and health · Basic knowledge of computers · Marketing Experience: Experience with and knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body is important. Although experience is important to this position, Mission Wellness will provide LILT training for the successful applicant. Additionally continuing education will be provided. Customer Service and / or sales experience is valuable. | |
