| Marketing Manager This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join an international, award winning organization. Our client is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible for the branding and overall vision of approximately 65 retail stores. This is a one year maternity leave contract that will run from October 2008 to November 2009. The successful candidate must have: a university degree (Business/Marketing major preferred); a minimum of 3-5 years progressive marketing experience, preferably in a service-oriented industry; a minimum of 3-5 years experience managing customer relations; and a good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess a high level of creativity, proven experience identifying and acting on opportunities, strong business acumen, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and presentation skills. Job duties include (but are not limited to): × Designing the strategic annual Marketing Plan (including brand strategy) and budget. × Overseeing all facets of the Customer Experience Program. × Evaluating all forms of research (market, customer, competitor, economic, etc.) to develop strategic brand positioning. × Planning and execution of results oriented, cost effective advertising campaigns. × Planning and executing traffic and merchandising events. × Acting as the primary liaison with all community organizations including schools, charities, sports clubs, chambers of commerce and local government. × Managing Charitable Giving Program and responding to all donation requests. × Hosting regular meetings and maintaining regular communication with retailers. × Assisting in managing and evaluating the Mystery Shopper Program × Developing, executing and supervising a variety of communications and public relations efforts such as writing press releases, media relations materials, speeches and presentations, and internal and external newsletters.
