| Drafting Supervisor EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have at least 5 years experience in drafting electrical and/or mechanical industrial products. You must also have at least 3 years of supervising a drafting team, and be very competent with AutoCAD 2D and 3D. An excellent command of English is also mandatory. POSITION DESCRIPTION: For over forty years our client has been designing and manufacturing highly engineered products used in the transmission and distribution of electrical power by organizations around the world. With over 1600 employees and a dozen manufacturing facilities on four continents, they are truly a major force in their industry. A recent retirement has created the need for an experience and accomplished Drafting Supervisor to join their existing team. The major responsibilities for this position include: • Providing leadership, training, motivation and personal development to the drafting team; • Ensuring that all drawings are produced accurately, on time and in a cost-effective manner: • Contributing to new product development and product cost enhancements; • Ensuring that all policies, standards and procedures are up to date and being followed; • Etc. | |
