Pesonal Response Center Associate(French/Cantonese & English) Job Summary The ideal candidate will respond promptly and professionally to Emergency and Non-Emergency calls from Lifeline subscribers and evaluate what type of assistance is required, following set protocols as well as using personal judgment. Key Responsibilities •Respond to calls in a professional and timely manner •Conduct daily test calls to subscribers •Troubleshoot equipment problems •Demonstrate initiative for continuous improvements by suggesting process improvements Education – Post Secondary education or equivalent work experience Work Experience (minimum level) - 1 to 3 years of business and/or customer service experience General Skills & Knowledge •Exceptional customer service skills •Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) •Typing skills •Superior listening skills /ability to assess and process information quickly and accurately •Good organizational skills •Excellent judgment and decision-making skills during sometimes stressful situations •Enjoy working independently in a fast paced environment •Display flexibility and strong work ethic Good interpersonal and conflict resolution Benefits •Extended dental coverage and health care plan •Non contributory pension plan (contributed solely by Philips) •Paid vacation leave •Access to employee assistance programme •Group RRSP
