Classification: EMERGENCY CARE EDUCATOR (ECE)
(Full-Time)
POSITION PURPOSE:

Reporting to the President of Aquatic Development Emergency Training Inc. (ADET), the Emergency Care Educator is responsible for facilitating training programs as they relate to Basic Life Support (BLS) and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) for ADET Inc. Key activities include educating Healthcare Professionals, Community Service Groups, and Corporate Businesses in CPR and First Aid.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of teaching the skills and techniques of First Aid, CPR, AED, Oxygen, Advanced Airway Management and Advanced First Responder Training programs.

Assists in the review, monitoring and refinement of training in basic CPR and First Aid processes to ensure that the needs of the organization are met.

Self –motivated and highly organized individual.

Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups.

Demonstrate experience with PowerPoint.

Ability to work outside regular business hours as required.

To carry out other duties as assigned.

SALARY RANGE:

Pay is based on per program and will range from hourly, $23.00-$50.00 per hour and depending on qualifications and experience.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

A university or community college diploma. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. At least one to two years of experience in facilitating related training programs. Ability to communicate effectively, take initiative, and show accountability, and flexibility/adaptability. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
