Senior Hardware Developer A rapidly growing Waterloo based company has an immediate opening for a senior hardware developer used to working in a mixed signal environment. The ideal candidate would have direct experience in both electronic design and also low level firmware development, and would be confident to work outside their existing comfort level and be able to quickly learn and utilize new technologies. # Qualifications B.Sc in electronic engineering or equivalent # consideration will be given to equivalent experiences # 7 to 10 years experience in mixed signal hardware design # PCB layout optimized for mid to high volume production # direct knowledge of EMI and regulatory constraints around design and PCB layout # careful attention to the demands of DFT and DFM # able to conduct and participate in DFMEA and PFMEA activities # familiar with coding in C, assembly, and VHDL or Verilog would be an asset # able to write low level firmware for new hardware designs would be an asset # experience with Altium Designer an asset # able to travel internationally if required
