| TEACH ENGLISH IN KOREA English in Asia (.ca) was formed as a resource for jobs and information focused on people who want to teach English in Korea. As a free service, English in Asia can answer any questions you may have and provide you with the knowledge to make an informed decision about teaching in Seoul and across Korea Position information: *Your application should be made aprox. 2 months prior to expected position start time. START DATE: September, October and onward LOCATIONS: Across Seoul and South Korea TERM: 1 year The benefits and salary will differ depending on location, type of school, the teachers’ experience, and the position. However, we at English in Asia will do our best to find you the most beneficial teaching position available. SALARY: 2,100,000 – 2,800,000 Korean won per month. (aprox. $2,100.00 - 2,800.00 CAD) HOUSING: Paid furnished apartment. AIRFARE: Paid return airfare. Including pick up from the airport. WORKING HOURS: max. 30 hours per week or max.120 hours per month. VACATION: 10 days paid vacation plus all Korean statutory holidays. MEDICAL: 50/50 medical coverage paid by employer SEVERANCE BONUS: One (1) month salary paid upon completion of a 1 year contract. SINGING BONUS: Only offered by English in Asia - a bonus/relocation fee upon arrival at the school. EXTRA BENEFITS: Teachers have a choice between a base 3.3% Korean Tax or a 7.5% Korean Tax. The 7.5% Korean tax includes Medical Insurance, Employment Insurance, Workers Compensation and Pension. How to apply...
