| Plant Manager CCL CONTAINER is North America's leading producer of aluminum packaging, including aluminum beverage bottles, aluminum aerosol cans, barrier packaging and other specialty aluminum packaging for top brand beverage, personal care, household, pharmaceutical, food, and industrial products. We are currently looking for a Plant Manager for our Penetanguishene, ON facility. The following is the expected duties for this position. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate operations Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets Plan and manage budget Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines Hire, supervise and train or overss training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques Applicants must be be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines and be detailed oriented. Must have superior communication skills and able to communicate with all levels. Above average problem solving skills, decision making and critical thinking are a must for this position. This position requires someone who is efficient, able to multi-task, and be a quick thinker. A minimum of 10 yrs. manufacturing management experience in speciality packaging, ideally with experience with coatings, graphics & printing. | |
