| Integration Specialist (junior - Intermediate) We have an opportunity for an Integration Specialist on a 6-month contract basis, possibly leading to a full-time position. Job Description: The Integration Specialist is responsible for the integration of proprietary software with various databases which are used for data capture and management. Databases may include Excel, Oracle, Phase Forward, SAS, Access and others. The position will include using APIs and/or coding to link the databases with the proprietary platform. In addition, responsibilities include installation and implementation of the software and any necessary upgrades for clients of PII, user training, assistance with work plan development, web and system administration and other assigned tasks requiring similar professional services. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1+ years of experience in software development and integration • Intermediate knowledge of networking, hardware, and PC and server operating systems (NT, Windows 2000, 2005, XP, Vista, Windows Server 2003 SP1) • Working knowledge of web based programming and administration • Knowledge of Programming Languages such as VB/ASP, VB.NET, HTML, XML, VBScript, JAVAscript, JAVA, • Knowledge of Relational Databases such as SQL Server, Excel, Oracle, Phase Forward, SAS, Access and others • Knowledge of Healthcare Standards - HL7, IHE, Dicom, CDISC, HIPPA, PHIPPA - is an asset • Knowledge of testing and quality control methodologies and practices such as ISO, SAS70, FDA certification • Good understanding of workflow design or willingness to learn • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills • Strong commitment to excellence, teamwork and building productive working environments with internal and external groups • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Must be eligible to travel within Canada and the US. • Must be eligible to apply for customer initiated security clearances such as the US National Agency Check (NAC) We would like to thank all candidates for their interest.
