Description:
The Engineering Supervisor role must plan and establish targets/standards, schedule resources, assign the work with targeted completion times up to 3 months. This entails detailing out the tasks for completion on a weekly and monthly basis, engaging his/her subordinates in the process, monitoring team activities, and making effective use of resources to achieve the pre-defined mining sequence. The role holder must anticipate and diagnose problems ahead of time such that processes can be improved to make the work of the subordinates more effective and safe. The Mine Engineering Supervisor recommends corrective actions based on monitoring the conditions that could adversely affect or exceed the scheduled development and production targets.

Educational Requirements:
Minimum: A bachelor's degree in mining engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required.
Experience:
Minimum: Minimum of 10 years experience in a project engineering role, familiar with typical technical specifications in all disciplines
