Project Manager-IBM P7 Oracle Fusion Middleware deadline for resumes Wed June 1st Location: Mural Road, Richmond Hill or Bay Street, Toronto although travel to other project locations in / out of the GTA may be required. up to a period of 12 months with two (2) extensions options for 3 months each Role: Project Manager General Accountabilities: Reporting to the program manager of the Corporate Projects department, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned project(s). Currently the expectation is for this candidate to work in support of iHub projects and Aspect Stabilization work. Qualifications required: 15+ years of technical experience in an IT environment. 10+ years of project management experience in the areas of infrastructure, applications, integration Deep understanding of the Project Management Institute methodology and experiences with references where it was applied. Preparation and delivery of project status reports to project sponsors. Able to create requirements documents; RFP documents; develop business cases; develop Statements of Work and maintain responsibility for the financial deliverables of multiple concurrent initiatives. Strong leadership, teambuilding, facilitation skills, and organization skills. Problem Solving Skills: The Hydro One Corporate Projects PMO will act as the escalation point for any of the projects in the overall portfolio. The successful candidates will need to arbitrate and present workable solutions to ensure project success. Demonstrated ability to work with the technical resources at the detailed activities and summarize / explain solutions to senior executives. 10 years strong relationship & vendor management skills. Demonstrated ability to build and strengthen relationships with sponsors, line of business stakeholders and delivery partners. Experience with multiple concurrent budgets exceeding $5M. Experience in leading, negotiating with, managing and coordinating Lines of Business. Experience reporting to and working with large and diverse Steering Committees. Able to work with the technical resources at the detailed activities and summarize / explain solutions to senior executives. Knowledge of Hydro One IT delivery, financial management processes, procurement and supplier contracting processes is preferred. Subject knowledge areas that will be managed by the selected candidate: Hard Ware platform installs (IBM P7) Architecture of Oracle Fusion Middleware (formally BEA Aqua Logic) Installation of Oracle Fusion Middleware (formally BEA Aqua Logic) High availabilities and Disaster Recovery approaches/architecture for the Middleware platform Regression and performance test approaches to verify functionality and performance of the middleware platform.
